Sandhurst Medal

The Sandhurst Medal was introduced in 2016 to recognise the extraordinary achievement of those International Students who successfully complete the Commissioning Course at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. The recipients of the Sandhurst Medal join an esteemed list of over 5,400 International Alumni from over 129 different countries.

In 2022 this was extended to include those International Cadets Commissioning from Short courses.

The Sandhurst Medal is fully approved by the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence and is designed to be worn on the uniform of the recipient to show that they have successfully completed the regular Commissioning or short course at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, United Kingdom.

Each year over 100 medals are gifted by the Commandant to all the International Cadets from the Senior Division.
